I'm an individual member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP)
I'm dedicated and passionate about empowering people to recognise and reach their full potential. I have experience working with adults of all ages and young people aged 11-18.
I encourage self-awareness, better ways of coping and support in finding the internal resources within for growth and change. I believe mental health and well-being is just as important as physical health and no-one should have to face their struggles alone. I recognise it can feel daunting starting your counselling journey, or returning for further support. Healing can sometimes feel painful, yet pain is often the biggest catalyst for personal growth and positive change!
Aside from my private practice with Adults, I am a School Counsellor. Here, I offer 1:1 counselling sessions for young people, allowing them a safe space to talk openly about how they feel, without fear or judgement. Speaking to someone, away from their home and school life, can take away some of the pressure. The supportive environment I provide allows young people to express their thoughts and feelings, as well as develop ways of coping with personal challenges.
If you would like to arrange an initial consultation to discuss how I may be able to support you or someone you care about - please get in touch.
I provide a trusting, safe space to explore and make sense of whatever may be going on for you.
I believe that it is you, the client who should decide how to use the space and time.
I work at your pace to listen to your inner world, to guide you, to understand you and to help grow in self-awareness.
I cannot promise to "fix" the challenges you face, nor do I have all of the answers. However, I can promise to walk alongside you as the client, ensuring that you are not facing them alone. I will provide you with the time to heal, grow and feel understood. I will listen to you without judgement and I hope to empower you to work towards any growth and change you wish to see.
